W.A.L.T Make Inferences

First of all we had to read the text. Once we had read the text we would say if we were  using text clues or background information to make an inference. After that we had to choose the best inference by weighing up all the clues we found by either text clues, background information or both. Next we had to say why the writer wanted us to make an inference.

Explanation writing

My chosen career path is a Vet. The reason I want to be a Vet is that I want to help and save animals. Vets treat sick and injured animals they also care animals. You need to prevent and treat animal problems and diseases. They also examine dead animals to find the cause of the death.I will also advise on animal nutrition and care for animals.
